In early 1989, we started with the concept “Do it yourself and save.” Greg Garcia (founder) started playing music at the age of 12. His ear toward music was phenomenal. At the age of 23, he moved to the United States where he dedicated himself to the music. A few years later he attended a private Recording Engineering Institute in North Hollywood California. At the same time he was attending a Live Sound Engineering Institute elsewhere while being a professional musician. Therefore, his attitude and taste toward sound and music was incredibly critical.
Shortly after, he started designing a large number of Bass Cabinets and P.A. Cabinets for Professional Sound Systems, Live Bands and DJ’s. It was there when he saw the need for some type of establishment that will provide an empty cabinet, a handle, a horn or a cross over with a professionally engineered design and performance.
That is when Greg’s Pro Audio initiated in a small 800 sq/ft retail store in Montebello California. In 1994 Greg’s Pro Audio moved to a bigger facility in Whittier California where we now design, manufacture and operate.
